Affiliation with Scientific Institutions

The discovery and the successful research on the kallikrein-kinin system and related subjects are closely linked to the scientific institutions headed by Emil Karl Frey and Eugen Werle. This line of research has been pursued by the successor organization of E. Werle’s Chair of Clinical Chemistry, the Division of Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Biochemistry of the LMU Munich, which also manages the E. K. FREY – E. WERLE Foundation of the Henning L. Voigt Family.
